Linda Olsson brings the 520 Collective over 30 years of experience in the energy
industry and as a management consultant working with Fortune 500 firms.
In the energy industry, Linda worked with electric, gas and water utilities across the U.S.
and in New Zealand to develop customer-focused strategies, improve processes,
evaluate new plant sites, and assess and improve energy services, renewable energy and
alternative rate programs. As a consultant with the Cadmus Group, A.T Kearney management consultancy and Xenergy, clients incuded AEP, American Water, Avista, California Energy Commission, Central Hudson Power & Light, Contact Energy, EmPower, Electric Power Research Institute, Focus on Energy, Mass Save, NSTAR, PG&E, SMUD, Southeast Energy Efficiency Alliance, Utah Regulatory Commission, and Xcel Energy. As an eight-year employee of Salt River Project, a water and electric utility, she was responsible for strategic and integrated planning, rate analysis, financial modeling, and programs for residential, commercial and industrial customers. As a management consultant for over 12 years, she helped utilities and global companies develop new strategies, improve processes and performance, align infrastructure and technology to strategy, and transform into more effective organizations. Clients included Procter and Gamble, EDS, Jones Lang LaSalle, and Toyota Manufacturing. She holds a MS in Industrial and Management Systems Engineering from Arizona State University and lives in Boulder.
