Alison joins the collective as CEO of Entrellis, LLC, where she provides organizational planning, project design, and customer research to help teams focus on delivering customer value.
Previously, she was Managing Director of the Deming Center for Entrepreneurship at CU-Boulder. She developed the Center’s sustainable entrepreneurship program, including a cleantech program to engage students in industry-based projects and an electric vehicle study with Toyota and Xcel Energy.
Alison also worked in the City of Boulder’s Environmental Affairs Office from 1990 to 1998, serving as Director from 1993-1998. She and her team redesigned the City’s Energy Option Points and developed the Partners for A Clean Environment program with energy and sustainability measures for businesses. She managed complex challenges across City departments, finding collaborative solutions to controversies around air toxics emissions and City biosolids disposal.
She has also served as a microbusiness development consultant, a personal and professional coach, and a congressional legislative assistant. She has a B.A. from Yale University and an M.A. in economics from Stanford.
